We cast solid, non-porous thermoset epoxy countertops, sinks, fume hood tops and pegboards that shrug off chemicals, heat and moisture — manufactured in Mountain Home, Arkansas and installed in labs around the world.
Our surfaces are cast flat through a proprietary thermosetting process, creating a continuous, non-porous slab with no coatings to chip and no seams to fail.
Withstands acids, solvents and reagents that destroy plastic laminates and coated surfaces — verified against the SEFA 3 reagent panel.
Thermoset epoxy holds up to bunsen burners, hot glassware and constant wash-down without warping, staining or delaminating.
A continuous, dense surface gives bacteria and contaminants nowhere to hide — easy to clean and ideal for healthcare and research labs.
Tops are custom-cut to your specifications with matching curbs, drip grooves and edge finishes for a flawless fit in any casework layout.
A solid material can be re-finished rather than replaced — the classic non-glare matte top has set the standard for lab design for generations.
Manufactured entirely in Arkansas from 92% U.S.-sourced raw materials, with vertically integrated tooling and quality control under one roof.
From the work surface to the sink to the pegboard above it — every component is made to the same American Epoxy Scientific quality standard and color-matched throughout.

American Epoxy Scientific is a veteran-owned business in Mountain Home, Arkansas. When a long-running local epoxy-resin plant closed in 2014, our CEO Steve Luelf purchased the factory in 2015 to preserve the jobs and the region's skilled craftspeople — rebuilding it with modern equipment.
We're backed by our parent company, American Stitchco, which has manufactured in the USA since 1983 with more than 200 team members and certifications spanning the automotive industry, NASA and the Lockheed Martin space program. That discipline shows up in every top we ship.
Today our surfaces are installed worldwide in schools, universities, healthcare facilities and research labs — including as the epoxy resin supplier for the 2020 SEFA Laboratory of the Year.
