When a long-running local epoxy-resin top company closed in 2014 and many employees lost their jobs, Steve purchased the factory in July 2015 with the intent of seeing whether it could be re-established and those jobs preserved. The plant had been stripped of all equipment, but the experienced labor force was still here. With dedicated associates and the acquisition of more up-to-date equipment, sales resumed in 2016 and have grown steadily every year since.
Today American Epoxy Scientific is a valued domestic and international supplier and a significant fabricator of chemical-resistant epoxy laboratory tops, sinks, fume hood tops and related accessories — as well as a fabricator of phenolic surfaces from several sources.
American Epoxy Scientific operates under American Stitchco, Inc. — an SBA-certified Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) — which brings decades of certified manufacturing discipline to every epoxy surface we make.
